Shannon Kramer

Shannon is recent transplant to California from NYC. Under the wings of some celebrity trainers at Equinox in NY, Shannon became a successful personal trainer and aerobics instructor innovating classes from "Sweat, Strength, and Skill" to "Kick and Jump," and teaching them for a number of well-known NYC gyms. Just 3 weeks after moving to Los Angeles with her fiance, Shannon was hit by a car and suffered multiple broken bones and other trauma throughout her body. She spent 2 months in a wheelchair, and another 6 months rehabilitating. It was a full year before she was able to even run again. With her aerobics career on long-term hold and the itch to continue teaching, Shannon concentrated more on personal training. Having the experience of rehabilitation behind her, she put much emphasis on alignment and core conditioning with her clients. Always looking for more challenges and fun, Shannon has taken up running, boxing, Muay Thai Kickboxing, and Krav Maga. Shannon believes strongly in keeping herself challenged and balanced and wishes to pass on her enthusiasm for exercise and for life to as many people as possible. "I believe in always telling the truth to yourself and those you love, daily meditation and exercise. Everything else will happen as it should."
